My name is Jennifer. I’m married to a wonderful man who loves Jesus more than he loves me – and that’s the best thing he could ever do for me. I have the privilege of homeschooling my two wonderful sons. They light up my life. They also keep me on my toes and on my knees. I will probably always read more blogs than I will actually write – but both reading and writing give me opportunities to think about things other than phonics rules and such profound questions such as “why is this seat wet?” To be honest, most days I feel more qualified to have a lengthy discussion on theology or hermeneutics than I do to discuss why the letter y is only “sometimes” a vowel. I would not change my job for anything and I hope you enjoy my ramblings along this journey.

My name is Ernie. My bride is a woman who loves Christ above all else. She strives to live out Proverbs 31, Titus 2, and Ephesians 5 for God’s glory. Together, by God’s grace, we are raising 2 mini postmodern pilgrims. My deepest desire is to see them love Christ and live for His glory. We try to parent them in a way that romances them to God so that they enjoy everything through Him and also long for His authority and approval. Maybe someday they will be the “voice of one crying in the wilderness” of their generation proclaiming the timeless and glorious Gospel. I love being a husband and I love being a dad. I enjoy reading, hiking, and geocaching. I’ve also been a Youth Pastor for 13 years working to convince teenagers that they don’t have to buy into the low expectation of immaturity and irresponsibility that this culture and world has for them. Instead they can live for the great purpose of knowing Christ and living for His Glory. Jenn and I also desire to love and serve the church in any way we can. I hope this blog brings you some small enjoyment, encouragement, and excitement. I hope it also brings you to Jesus.
